To see the boats depart Port Huron’s Black River for Lake Huron’s starting line, find a spot along the Black River from Desmond Marine to the River Street Marina, as well as along Quay St. and Water St. These are the greatest places to say good luck and catch a close-up glimpse of the teams as they depart on their adventure! Under the Blue Water Bridge or along Thomas Edison Park in Port Huron, you can also get a good view of them heading northward. Start times vary from morning until midday depending on class.
