Detroit Tigers-St. Louis Cardinals series postponed due to virus outbreak

A couple of days ago, it was impacting the Detroit Lions. Now the coronavirus outbreak has brought drama to the Detroit Tigers.

Each and every day, the virus seems to be stirring drama in Detroit sports. 

A couple of days after the Detroit Lions would put quarterback Matthew Stafford on coronavirus IR, the Detroit Tigers would have their series against the St. Louis Cardinals postponed due to members of the Cardinals staff being impacted.

This had come at a time where it appeared the Tigers seemed to be carrying some momentum.

On Sunday, Tigers pitcher Tyler Alexander struck out all nine hitters he faced against the Cincinnati Reds. But he, along with the rest of his Tigers teammates will have to wait to get back on the field.
