Crop stolen from grain bins

(TUSCOLA COUNTY) – The Tuscola County Sheriff Department is investigating the theft from a farm in Kingston Township earlier this month.

According to investigators, approximately 28,000 lbs or 460 bushels, of Organic Roasted Soybeans were stolen from grain bins located at a local farm in the area of Lamton Rd and Mushroom Rd. in Kingston Twp.

Officials say the soybeans belonged to another farmer and were being roasted at the farm that they were taken from.

Police believe the soybeans were taken from the grain bins sometime between October 25th and November 3rd.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Tuscola County Sheriff Department.
