Construction at Heartlands in Marlette progressing

Marlette Regional Hospital officials say there has been great progress on the main building of their new Heartlands senior housing complex this week. The mammoth sprawling complex, just east of M-53 on the north end of Marlette, features several new buildings.

Work this has week has been geared towards the complex’s main building, including the Memory Care facility, Assisted Living and Community Center.

Officials say the community center features a large meeting/dining room area seating up to 100 people, kitchenette, media room, gym/exercise room, bathrooms, exam/office rooms, and an outside dining area.
