These actual messages appeared on church signs around the United States:
–Visitors welcome; members expected.
–The Will of God will never take you where the Grace of God cannot protect you.
–Sorrow looks back; fear looks around; faith looks up.
–Satan subtracts and divides; God adds and multiplies!
–The best vitamin for a Christian is “B1.”
–Is your life running on empty? Free fill-ups here every Sunday.
–Under the same management for 2000 years.
–They’re commandments—not suggestions!
–Looking for a lifeguard? Ours walks on water.
–Worry is the interest paid on trouble before it’s due.
–Character is how you treat people who can’t do something for you.
–Trade God your pieces for His peace.
–When spider webs united they can tie up a lion.
–If the truth hurts, it’s working.
–You make the choice; God makes the change.
–Keep your words sweet; you may have to eat them.
–The heaviest thing you can carry is a grudge.
–Exercise daily: run from Satan, walk with God.
–Failing is not falling down; it is staying down.
–It’s risky to go out on a limb—but that is where the fruit is.
–To belittle is to be little.
–Worry is the darkroom where negatives are developed.
–God wants full custody, not just weekend visits.
–God answers knee-mail.
–Is prayer your steering wheel or your spare tire?
–Life is fragile—handle with prayer.
–Seven days without God makes one weak.
–Honk if you love Jesus; text if you want to meet Him.
–Tithe if you love Jesus! Anyone can honk.
–Don’t give up. Moses was a basket case.

–A smile is a curve that can set a lot of things straight.
–Aspire to inspire before you expire.
–The winds of change are always blowing, but you have to raise your sail.
–Jesus is like Tide; He gets stains out others leave behind.
–The mind grows by taking in, but the heart grows by giving out.
–Don’t pray for a lighter load but a stronger back.
–A grateful mind is a great mind.
–You can give without loving but you cannot love without giving.
All these signs point to an important message: It doesn’t work to spell “church”
C – H – – C – H, because when U R missing, the Church isn’t complete.
