We run through life – get thrown off-guard.
We trip on dreams and fall so hard.
Our future’s bright and never dim –
but only if we follow Him.
Christ still is found throughout the crowds,
and penetrates our darkest clouds.
Though marred in sins as black as coals,
He lifts us up – our wicked souls.
His endless love flows as the breeze,
and through the air with cradled ease.
He rocks us close on clouds aloft,
with loving grace in arms so soft.
Yet we choose life and chase our dreams.
So busy are these times, it seems.
Did I repent? I knew I ought –
but time I had, or so I thought.
