Blue Water Fallen Heroes Banner Project

As everyone probably knows by now, The Blue Water Fallen Heroes Banner Program is honoring those that died in service of their country from World War I to the present conflict. They have not yet reached their goal of 300 banners.

If a member of your family or someone you knew perished in the service of duty, please contact the hotline at 810-985-2007 or 810-434-6407. Although, actual photographs are preferred, they are now accepting newspaper clippings of pictures, if the actual photograph cannot be found.

The banners are to be displayed one week before and after Memorial Day every year in the communities in which the service man or woman lived. It is the only known banner program that is county-wide. Banners are slated to begin 2021.
