After a two-year hiatus, the Blue Water Chamber is excited to announce the next Volunteer Recruitment Fair will be held September 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the St. Clair County Community College Welcome Center. The format is open-house style, attendance is free, and people of all ages who are interested in learning about various nonprofits’ volunteer needs are welcome to attend.
Up to twenty-five local charities will be represented at the event, ensuring each attendee will find a volunteer opportunity suitable for their interests, and abilities.
“Whatever your passion, you can find a place to volunteer,” said Tracy Willard, the Executive Director of Hunter Hospitality House, an agency participating in the event. “It’s the perfect place to start if you’ve been thinking about volunteering but want more information.”
