The museum is participating in ”Be a Tourist in Your Own Town”, Saturday June 2nd  from 10 AM to 4 PM. There will be crafts for the kids and a bake sale for the sweet lovers. Our wonderful band will be playing from 12:30 to 3:30 PM

Come and enjoy ice history, dating back to the mid 1800’s, right here in our beautiful Port Huron location. Our founder Norman F. Knowlton “Mickey” wanted to share this history with everyone, especially our children. It’s Michigan history no longer taught in our schools, so come and enjoy a step back in time.

Memorial weekend is here – remember our Veterans. Veterans are admitted free to the museum. Bring family and friends to enjoy it all, you won’t be disappointed.

Remember we offer tours any day of the week, just give us a call and leave your contact information for someone to get back with you- (810) 987-5441.

Enjoy the beautiful holiday weekend! * Keep watching for future events-at Knowlton Ice Museum. *

I have been the manager of Knowlton’s Ice Museum for almost three years. I have lived in Port Huron all of my life and grew up with the Knowlton family. I have two adult children and two grandchildren. I belong to an antique tractor club in Croswell, MI where I’ve shown my 1949 8n Ford tractor in local parades. I love visiting the St. Clair river with my little dog and a good book for the afternoon. Quilting is a passion when I have them time. I truly enjoy sharing the ice harvesting history in our area; it brings back memories for so many people.
