The Port Huron Northern girls basketball team fell Friday against Eisenhower, 49-46.
The Huskies came up just short of victory, despite a game-high 21 points from Ally Shagena.
The Huskies senior added six rebounds, four assists and four steals for Northern (1-2, 2-3), in the Macomb Area Conference Red Division contest.

Jersey McGregor added 10 points and seven rebounds for Northern, while Emma Griffiths scored 11, and Victoria Verellen added nine points for Eisenhower (2-1, 3-2).
Port Huron Northern will travel to face Grosse Pointe North on Feb. 23.
In other action: The Imlay City boys basketball team lost to Armada, 69-41, in Blue Water Area Conference action.
Eric Keding scored a game-high 16 points for Armada (3-1), and Andrew Sniesak (13 points), Kaleb Sutton (11 points) and Alec Albrecht (10 points) also contributed in the victory.
Zach Dingwell scored a team-high 13 points for Imlay City (1-2, 3-3); while Andrew Badder scored seven points and Parker Lewis scored six.
Armada gained the advantage early by out scoring Imlay City, 20-10, in the first quarter and 41-22 in the first half.
