Ron Haller, a former automotive engineer, left that field in 1978 and entered the financial services industry with Connecticut Mutual (now Mass Mutual). His training prepared him both as an agent and supervisor specializing in advanced planning strategies for both individuals and business owners. Not happy in the corporate world, he founded the Haller Financial Group in 1984 in order to offer his clients a much broader array of financial services and products.
He has two offices conveniently located to serve clients in both Port Huron and Troy, Michigan.Ron is married to Marla who helps him manage the business, and they have three very successful daughters—two in Michigan and one in Seattle. He also has a large extended family in Port Huron, Sandusky, and Marine City. Besides running the firm, he enjoys photography, boating, and travel.Last but not least, Ron has known Grant Smith (of the Grant Smith insurance Agency) since 1982, both as close friends and as business associates. He frequently meets with Grant’s customers in his Port Huron office to design and implement retirement plan strategies.
