Area hospitals need supplies

By Dave Fredrick - Sanilac Broadcasting

Hospitals throughout the region are pleading for help in obtaining badly needed supplies to help combat the Coronavirus pandemic that is sweeping through the state, and nation.

Sanilac County Emergency Management Director Todd Hillman has said he has ordered supplies from the State Emergency Center but has no idea when they might arrive.

Staff at McKenzie Health System is seeking donations of new or unused disposable face masks along with N-95 masks. They could also use gowns, face shields and goggles along with disposable shoe covers and surgical caps.
