A Beautiful Me Selected by Mackinac Bridge Authority

Port Huron, MI  –  Every August, the Mackinac Bridge Authority holds a drawing and randomly chooses 25 non-profit organizations to receive a Mackinac Bridge Tower Tour Certificate to be raffled for charitable purposes.  Of the 454 applications submitted this year, A Beautiful Me was among those chosen!  The Tower Tour raffle winner will receive a Tower Tour Certificate, with access for two people.

The certificate can be redeemed in 2020, from May 1st through October 15th, with dates coordinated between the lucky winner and the Mackinac Bridge Authority.

Access to the top of the Mighty Mac for a dramatic 360-degree aerial view, is a unique and exclusive opportunity and is provided to fewer than 300 people each year (excluding bridge employees).

Each tower stands nearly 550 feet above the Straits of Mackinac, so getting to the top takes an adventurous spirit!  Though there is an elevator to assist with the ascent, it does not go to the top, so in addition to maneuvering through the small interior and wedging out of narrow hatches, there are 40 ladders to climb!  The reward?  The most dramatic view in Michigan atop the Mighty Mac!

A Beautiful Me’sTower Tour raffle tickets are being sold for $20 each or 6 for $100 and may be purchased online at  With only 1,000 raffle tickets available, tickets will sell fast!  The winner’s name will be drawn during A Beautiful Me’s Signature FUNdraiser at Zuccaro’s Banquet Center in Chesterfield, Michigan, on Sunday, November 3rd (need not be present to win).  100% of proceeds go directly to A Beautiful Me.

A Beautiful Me Board Chair, Kimberly Prisby, stated, “Our entire organization is beyond grateful to the Mackinac Bridge Authority for creating this once-in-a-lifetime fundraising opportunity, with an outreach far beyond the communities we serve.  Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!”

A Beautiful Me is a 501c3 charitable organization that fosters girls’ self-esteem in 3rd-12th grade through uniquely developed confidence-building, interactive workshop series. For more information email Karen Palka at, or call (586) 604-3037.
