Laurie, who has 22 years of service and serves as the lead mammographer in the Radiology Department at LHMC, has been recognized for her exceptional dedication and compassionate care.

Her nomination for this esteemed award came directly from a patient who expressed deep gratitude for Laurie’s compassionate approach during a mammogram appointment. The patient remarked, “I was very uneasy about getting a mammogram done and she went above and beyond to calm my nerves, very patient and loving and kind. I do believe this world needs more people like her!”
