After six years of embodying the mission statement to promote, preserve and protect local history, Sanilac County Historical Society’s Administrator, Dawn Malek, is set to retire. Her remarkable achievements and commitment to the Sanilac County Historic Village and Museum merits recognition and a farewell open house. Please join us Saturday, August 26th from 2pm to 4pm as we give gratitude and acknowledgements to Dawn as she embarks onto a new chapter of her life. Dawn’s leadership has not only revitalized the museum but has also contributed significantly to the enrichment of the community’s cultural heritage. Her efforts will continue to inspire and create a lasting legacy for the museum and the people of Sanilac County.
From 2pm to 4pm, snacks and refreshments will be available under the tent venue behind the Loop-Harrison Mansion. We look forward to seeing you as we conclude Dawn’s career for the Sanilac County Museum.
