The Chicago Bears have one of the most exciting offenses in the NFL, led by third-year quarterback Caleb Williams, who was one of the breakout stars of the 2025 season. And the former No. 1 pick has no shortage of weapons at his disposal, including fellow first-round pick Rome Odunze.
Following the DJ Moore trade this offseason, Chicago is chock-full of you guys playmakers, led by Williams and Odunze, as well as last year’s rookie standouts — tight end Colston Loveland, receiver Luther Burden III and running back Kyle Monangai — as well as third-round rookie Zavion Thomas. But there are some notable veterans, including running back D’Andre Swift, tight end Cole Kmet and receiver Kalif Raymond to round out the group.
Odunze spoke about the youth movement on offense, where he acknowledged the preconceived expectations for younger players in the league and how this Bears offense is looking to exceed those expectations and achieve the ultimate goal.
“I view it as a young core,” Odunze said. “We are like some hungry dogs in this league ready to get after it. We’ve got a lot of young players that have a lot on our plates and I feel like that’s good for us. Maybe expectation of young players in this league is mental and different mistakes like that. I think we’re excited for the opportunity and trying to exceed expectations for younger players in this league, in this younger core. The goal is the Lombardi Trophy regardless of where we’re at. And that’s every single year.”
The Bears’ top playmakers on offense are all young guys with two or fewer years of experience, led by Williams, tight end Loveland and receivers Odunze and Burden. But they’ve all showed incredible promise and potential, and the sky’s the limit heading into Year 2 of Ben Johnson’s offense.
