A new convenience store is setting up shop on El Paso’s East Side.
QuikTrip, headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma, was founded in 1958 and has since grown into a company with over $11 billion in revenue and more than 1,000 stores across 17 states. The company has more than 31,000 employees and has consistently ranked among the convenience store leaders in quality products and friendly service.
Beyond its steady growth over nearly 70 years, QuikTrip also donates 5% of its proceeds to charitable causes within the communities it serves, including United Way campaigns, support for National Safe Place agencies and Folds of Honor scholarships.
Where is it?
The new QuikTrip convenience store location is at 1301 Lee Trevino Drive, according to the city’s permit and licensing page.
Located just off of I-10, the new QuikTrip is just across the street from Group 1 Ford and across Gateway Boulevard West from Mattress Liquidators, a WestStar branch, RightDrive and Teppanyaki Grill and Buffet.
What was there before?
The new QuikTrip location in far West El Paso will be a new construction site at the corner of Lee Trevino Drive.
Construction calls for a new convenience store building and space for fuel sales, but the city’s website does not include details about the store’s square footage.
Who is the contractor?
The contractor for the project is not listed on the city’s website, but the applicant for the project is Ryan Egan of Boerne, Texas. The owner is listed as Trevino Place I, LLC.
The project is valued at $1.5 million.
