FSU's 2027 recruiting class ranking after Jayden Miles' commitment

The FSU Seminoles have added a new member to their 2027 recruiting class in four-star running back Jayden Miles, who committed to them on Monday over the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Miles is the second four-star prospect they have landed in the past two days, joining four-star safety Jernard Albright, FSU’s highest-ranked commit. Miles is now FSU’s highest-ranked player on the offensive side of the ball.

He is ranked as the No. 388 overall player and No. 30 running back in the 247Sports composite. The Baton Rouge native is also the No. 15 player from Louisiana.

While FSU’s recruiting class is heavily focused on the defense, he adds some needed star power to the class as they continue to look for playmakers to surround quarterback Logan Flaherty. Six of FSU’s commits are defensive players, with all six ranking among FSU’s seven highest-rated commits.

The Seminoles now have nine total commitments and have the No. 48 recruiting class in the country according to the 247Sports team rankings. Here is how FSU’s recruiting class compares to the rest of the ACC.
