Caroline Basehoar and Wyatt Rouamba, Xavier track and field
Basehoar and Rouamba won individual Division 2 titles at the WIAA state track and field championships. Rouamba recorded a state-record leap of 47 feet, 11.5 inches to win the D2 triple jump. Basehoar won the D2 girls pole vault with a leap of 12-3.
Ellie Davel, St. Mary Catholic girls track and field
Davel won the D3 girls 100 hurdles with a time of :14.59 at the WIAA state track and field championships.
Hudson Samolinski, Grant Wenzelow and Trey Zemke, Winneconne boys track and field
Samolinski finished first in the D2 shot put with a throw of 61-2.75 and was second in the discus (173-10) at the WIAA state track and field championships. Wenzelow won the 800 meters (1:53.43) and was second in the 1,600 (4:14.41), and Zemke won the pole vault (15-0). All three helped the Wolves capture the WIAA D2 team title.
Emma Severson, Neenah girls track and field
Severson captured D1 titles in both the shot put (47-11.5) and discus (156-6) at the WIAA state track and field championships.
