The 6-foot-2, 175-pound defensive back received offers from Sacramento State, Missouri State, Western Illinois, Butler and Chicago State. Harris recently visited Iowa and earned an offer from the Hawkeyes.

Harris was a part of Brother Rice’s Class 7A state championship team in 2025.

Here are highlights from Harris’ junior season:

He is the second defensive back to commit to Iowa in the 2027 high school class, joining fellow Illinois product Jake Thies, a 3-star prospect who attends Fenwick High School.

Harris is the second prospect to announce his commitment to the Hawkeyes in as many days. Defensive lineman Bariyus Allen made his pledge to Iowa public on June 7. Allen attends Belmont High School in Ohio and is a 3-star prospect, according to the 247Sports Composite.
