Four people were injured and a man was arrested in a stabbing Saturday night in Amarillo, police said.
The Amarillo Police Department said officers responded to reports of a stabbing in the 700 block of South Polk at 11:58 p.m. Saturday, May 23.
APD said officers learned a fight had occurred between a man and a group of individuals, during which several people were stabbed. Four people were taken to local hospitals and were treated for their injuries.
The man, identified as 33-year-old Patrick Wayne Bailey Jr., was arrested at the scene and booked into the Potter County Detention Center for four counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
APD said the investigation remains ongoing.
