Kewaunee 8, Luxemburg-Casco 1
LUXEMBURG – Jackson Walecka allowed four hits and one run in five innings to pitch the Storm to the nonconference victory over the Spartans.
Walecka struck out seven batters and allowed two walks.
Diesel Bosdeck went 3-for-4 at the plate, including a two-run single in the first inning, to lead Kewaunee. Waylon Delain, Connor Kilgore and Bosdeck each drove in two runs. Brett Paulsen collected two hits.
Ethan Werner hit a solo home run to left field in the bottom of the first inning for Luxemburg-Casco’s only run.
Luxemburg-Casco 5, Algoma 1
LUXEMBURG – Ethan Engum pitched six innings to lead the Spartans to the nonconference win over the Wolves.
Engum allowed four hits, one run, walked one and struck out nine.
Ethan Werner had a double and an RBI for Luxemburg-Casco. Hudson Billings, Jacob Coisman and Myles Jandrin also drove in runs.
Algoma got a hit and an RBI from Jacob Massey.
Roncalli 8, Southern Door 1
MANITOWOC – The Jets scored four runs in the first inning and three in the second in the nonconference win over the Eagles.
Will Price had a triple and an RBI for Southern Door. Mac Hoffman and Kody Wagaman had the other hits for the Eagles.
Roncalli was led by Victor Anzia, who had three hits, including two doubles, and drove in three runs.
Kory Wilke pitched a complete game for the Jets. He allowed three hits, one run, walked four and struck out seven.
