2027 5-star RB places Texas A&M in his final 10 program list

One of Texas A&M’s priority prospects in the 2027 recruiting class has garnered a ton of attention heading into the summer, and after receiving an early prediction to land with the Aggies, five-star running back Landen Williams-Callis is not close to slimming down his list of potential suitors. However, ahead of his official visit to College Station on June 12, Williams-Callis has released his final program list.

Making up his final group, Texas A&M joins SMU, Oregon, LSU, Florida, Florida State, Houston, Indiana, Missouri, and the Texas Longhorns, and has official visits set up with seven of the teams listed. While the Aggies shouldn’t be considered the leader at this time, ending the year 11-2 and their first appearance in the College Football Playoff has provided plenty of momentum.

Already landing 14 commitments, including a nation-high five five-stars, the Aggies are hoping that Williams-Callis will leave College Station with a future commitment on his mind, which has been the trend with every one of A&M’s commits, especially after five-star safety Kamarui Dorsey shut down his recruitment on Saturday morning.

During his first two seasons, the five-star back ran for 4,049 yards and 66 touchdowns at Randle HS in Richmond (TX), including 2,103 yards and 43 touchdowns during his 2024 junior campaign. In 2025, his success continued, rushing for 3,502 rushing yards and 59 touchdowns on 10.8 yards per carry.

According to Rivals, Williams-Callis is currently positioned as the 42nd-ranked prospect in the 2027 class, the No. 3-ranked running back, and the eighth-ranked prospect in Texas.
