It wasn’t quite the round of 60 he put up on Day 2, but Si Woo Kim did well enough in the third round of the 2026 CJ Cup Byron Nelson to maintain his lead heading into the final stretch at TPC Craig Ranch.
The 30-year-old from Korea fell to even par for his Round 3 with back-to-back bogeys to start the back nine before closing with three birdies over the next four holes. Kim enters the final round at 21 under, two strokes ahead of defending champ Scottie Scheffler and Wyndham Clark, who hasn’t finished in the top 15 since his 2026 debut in The American Express.
Scheffler won that tournament but hasn’t taken home a trophy since. The Dallas resident was the runner-up three times in a row starting at the Masters with two other top-five finishes this season. Six shots back at 17 under, Stephan Jaeger, Tom Hoge and Sungjae Im sit in position to take the win if the course plays right with Brooks Koepka (15 under) among those farther back who could make a run today.
