Crack down on Ringling Bridge speeders
I understand the Sarasota city commissioners’ intent to augment the city’s revenue by extending paid parking hours on weeknights and Sundays.
But I would suggest that Sarasota authorities should also enforce the speed limit on the Ringling Bridge.
The revenue raised from issuing tickets for consistent and egregious speeding on the Ringling Bridge would likely exceed the money brought in from extended paid parking hours.
Just sayin’.
