A man and two teenage boys were wounded when gunfire broke out at a house party in Apple Valley on Friday night, law enforcement officials said.
The shooting, which was being investigated as attempted murder, took place about 11:10 p.m. May 22 in the 13000 block of Clallam Road, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department officials said.
It stemmed from a fight between about 10 teenagers in the backyard of the home, according to a sheriff’s department statement.
“The party attendees were kicked out and the large group migrated to the street,” the statement said. “An unknown subject fired a pistol numerous times at the crowd and three victims were shot.”
A 20-year-old Jurupa Valley man, as well as a 17-year-old Apple Valley boy and a 17-year-old Victorville boy, were hospitalized with gunshot wounds, officials said. One of them had been released from medical care by Saturday, May 23.
No further details, including a suspect description, were available as the investigation continued.
