Germany’s Great Bavarian Circus

April 30 through May 10. Pensacola Interstate Fairgrounds, 6655 Mobile Highway. Special Olympics of Florida Charity Golf Tournament

11:30 a.m. May 4. The Club at Hidden Creek, 3070 PGA Blvd., Navarre. The Knights of Columbus Council 13277 is hosting their annual Special Olympics of Florida Charity Golf Tournament. This annual charity fundraising event has been a favorite among the locals. All Proceeds benefit Special Olympics of Florida Area 1. Registration: $125 per golfer; $500 for a team. Monday Night Blues

7 p.m. May 4. Seville Quarter, 130 E. Government St. Seville Quarter and the Blues Society of Northwest Florida are bringing the “blues” back to the Seville Quarter Entertainment District. Mothers’ Day and Cinco de Mayo Maker’s Market

3 p.m. May 5. Cordova Square Park, 1101 N. 12th Ave. The East Hill Neighborhood Association invites everyone to a very special Makers Market celebrating Mothers’ Day and Cinco de Mayo.  The afternoon will offer family activities and crafts, great local food vendors, and many local makers offering unique items and gifts.  Come and enjoy a beautiful time outdoors in East Hill. Thrown

Bands on the Beach

7 p.m. May 5. Gulfside Pavilion at Casino Beach, Pensacola Beach. Bands on the Beach is Pensacola Beach’s popular outdoor summer concert series with performers for every musical taste. Featuring a lineup of regional artists, the series delivers an eclectic musical experience throughout the entire summer. This week features Southern Breeze. St. Christopher’s Concerts

6 p.m. May 7. St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church, 3200 N. 12th Ave. Christopher’s Concerts is an annual concert series bringing live music to the community in a fun, family-friendly atmosphere. The series features a diverse lineup of talented bands performing a variety of musical styles. Attendees may bring their own food and beverage and food will be available for purchase on site. Keep Flying

FRIDAY

Pensacola Navy Days Celebration

May 8 through 10. Pensacola Navy Days returns to honor the rich military heritage of the Greater Pensacola Area. This annual event highlights the bond between the local community and Naval Aviation Station Pensacola, along with all branches of the military stationed here. This year’s celebration continues with a series of events on May 8 including a Golf Tournament at A.C. Read Golf Course at 9:30 a.m. as well as the black tie Night at the Museum Gala at the National Naval Aviation Museum at 6:30 p.m., and a full day of family fun on May 9, with a 4K run/walk at 8 a.m., Fun Fest at Plaza Deluna at 9 a.m. and the Navy Days Parade at 10 a.m. More info: pensacolanavydays.org.

Cradle of Filth

6 p.m., doors; 7 p.m., show; May 8. Vinyl Music Hall, 2 S. Palafox St. A British extreme metal institution, Cradle of Filth emerged in 1991 with a style that leaned heavily toward black metal. Del Shores Foundation Writers Festival

7:30 p.m. May 8, 10 a.m. May 9 and 2:30 p.m. May 10. Pensacola Little Theatre, 400 S. Jefferson St. The Del Shores Foundation and the Red Ribbon Charitable Foundation present the fourth Del Shores Foundation Writers Festival at Pensacola Little Theatre with Stamped Film Festival. The festival will feature live stage readings of all three winning scripts from the Del Shores Foundation Writers Search along with panels featuring industry experts in theatre and film focused specifically on writing. The event is hosted by Del Shores (Sordid Lives, Queer As Folk) with special guest artist Peter Paige (Queer As Folk, The Fosters) and produced by festival director Emerson Collins (RENT: LIVE, The People’s Couch). Pensacola Children’s Chorus presents Showtime 2026

Pensacola Beach Art & Wine Festival

11 a.m. May 9. Pensacola Beach Boardwalk and the Gulfside Pavilion. This Beach Art & Wine Fest invites guests to sip, stroll, and explore across both venues, enjoying the best of art, wine, spirits, and live entertainment in a seamless, expanded footprint along Pensacola Beach. Dinner Detective Murder Mystery Dinner Show

6 p.m. May 9. Hilton Garden Inn Pensacola Downtown, 8 S. Ninth Ave. America’s largest interactive comedy murder mystery dinner theatre show is now playing. Solve a mystery while feasting on dinner. Just beware, the culprit is hiding in plain sight somewhere in the room, and you may find yourself as a prime suspect before you know it. This event differs from a traditional murder mystery dinner show. The actors are not dressed in costume and are hidden in the audience. Demon Hunter
