The Buffalo Bills suffered their first loss of the 2025 NFL season in Week 6 against the New England Patriots.
The Bills (4-1) were knocked off by the Patriots (3-2) in a 23-20 final.
The outcome was disappointing, especially considering the contest was a prime-time game on “Sunday Night Football.” However, how much of the loss was because of Buffalo’s shortcoming as opposed to New England’s successes?
With that, here is Bills Wire’s stock report following the Bills’ loss to the Patriots in Week 6:
Stock down: CB Tre’Davious White
Throughout the contest, onlookers pointed out White for all the wrong reasons. He allowed chunks of yards in coverage with plenty of those coming when White was covering former Bill Stefon Diggs… who ended up owning his former team over and over.
Stock down: QB Josh Allen
While Allen did help keep the game close and even kept the Bills in a position to steal another win, he finally had a bad game in terms of turnovers. Allen had an interception and lost a fumble.
Stock down: WR Keon Coleman
Coleman redeemed himself with a touchdown after an early fumble. However, he was still benched for a portion of this game.
Stock down: HC Sean McDermott
Sloppy play, such as turnovers, falls on the coaching staff. Part of those miscues are penalties as well and the Bills had 11 of those for 90 yards. McDermott & Co. need to stay away from double-digit penalties.
Stock up: TE Dalton Kincaid
This was certainly the best game of Kincaid’s career. He finally looked like he had a huge breakout effort… to go along with his already strong season. In Week 5, Kin aid had six catches for 108 yards.
Stock up: DE Greg Rousseau
The Bills did a good job of stopping the Patriots’ run game for most of the game. Rousseau led the way there with two tackles for loss to go along with the sack he had.
Stock down: CB Christian Benford
While White was the worst Bills’ defensive back via the eye test, he was not according to Pro Football Focus’ grades for this game. That honor went to Benford, who had a terrible mark of 42.7.
Stock down: LB Matt Milano
Milano injured his pectoral muscle again. He cannot stay healthy. The best ability can be availability. Milano does not have that.
