The New York Giants wrapped up their preseason schedule with a win on Thursday Night at MetLife Stadium against the New England Patriots.
With starting quarterback Russell Wilson sitting out the final game action before the regular season, the other three quarterbacks on the roster had themselves a day, leading the Giants to a dominating 42-10 victory.
Following the win, the trio of quarterbacks, who refer to themselves as the “Three Amigos,” had some fun celebrating the win.
Jaxson Dart and Jameis Winston began celebrating in the third quarter with Winston’s infamous “eating W’s” celebration.
After the game, the two kept celebrating and were joined by the third Amigo, Tommy DeVito.
Jameis wasn’t done having fun celebrating the quarterback room, posting a photo on X.
Dart and Winston each had a touchdown on the day, and local product Tommy DeVito added three second-half touchdowns.
While many expect DeVito to be left off the final roster, some have pondered the possibility of the Giants carrying four quarterbacks to keep the camaraderie going.
The major changes in the Giants’ quarterback room certainly seem to have contributed heavily to the culture change surrounding the team this offseason. As the Giants approach the regular season with great vibes surrounding them, they will look for their preseason success to turn into wins in the regular season.
