The wildlife stories in Southwest Florida keep getting wilder.
On Friday night (May 30) the Naples Police Department posted a photo on its Facebook page of a black bear taking a nap.
Not in the woods.
Not at the zoo.
Not at one of our amazing preserves.
This bear was snoozing in the lobby of a Naples condominium complex under construction, according to the Facebook post.

Unusual sight in the City of Naples today! Naples Police responded to 3115 Gulf Shore Blvd. N. reference to a black bear that was taking a nap in a condominium lobby that was under construction.
He took a swim in the Gulf earlier and obviously tired himself out!
Florida Wildlife Conservation Commission responded and trapped the bear without incident.
