The Green Bay Packers handed out over $500,000 in guaranteed money to the team’s undrafted free agent class following the 2025 NFL draft, according to contract numbers obtained by Ken Ingalls.
Six different players received signing bonuses of $15,000, and nine of the 10 undrafted signings got a signing bonus at least $10,000. Four players had base salary guaranteed in 2025, including $150,000 for defensive lineman Nazir Stackhouse.
Like typical free agency, the use of guaranteed money is one way to help acquire priority players following the draft.
The Packers clearly like Stackhouse, a traditional nose tackle type who could compete for a role on the 53-man roster right away. He received a $15,000 signing bonus and the $150,000 guarantees in base salary — his $165,000 in guaranteed money led the UDFA class. Slot cornerback Johnathan Baldwin, offensive lineman Tyler Cooper and linebacker Jamon Johnson got both a $15,000 signing bonus and $100,000 guaranteed in base salary, or $115,000 total.
The total guaranteed money spent on undrafted free agents for the Packers in 2025? $571,000.

Guaranteed money doesn’t guarantee anything in terms of making the team, but it does highlight the interest level from the Packers in the player to end the draft process. The Packers clearly wanted the likes of Stackhouse, Baldwin, Cooper and Johnson in Green Bay, and they were willing to pay up to give them a chance this summer.
