Starting this Friday, MDOT will be resurfacing almost 8 miles of M-46.
The work will be focused on the roadway east of M-53 and west of M-19, with an eye to repair road joints, improve the shoulders, chip seal, micro-resurface and add new pavement markings. Traffic flow during the work will be maintained with lane closures and traffic regulators during the day, with all closures being removed overnight.
With the project running until Tuesday, September 13, MDOT will be investing $1.1 million in the project, with a total of 14 jobs expected to be supported from the investment.
