Why are teeth so important? Patients occasionally ask me about this. Teeth break up the food you eat into smaller particles so that it can be digested properly. The position of your teeth lend support to the lips and cheeks and also allow for proper speech.
There is a direct connection between the health of your teeth and gums, and your overall health. Teeth that are left untreated, or gums that are not healthy, directly affect other parts of the body.
Lastly, when you have a nice smile it can make you feel better about yourself. My goal is to make sure that my patients have beautiful, healthy teeth and gums!
I’ve been a dentist in private practice in St. Clair, Michigan, for over 25 years. I’m trained and experienced in all facets of dentistry, so that our patients never need to go elsewhere for any of their treatment. I’m constantly taking courses to stay current on the quickly changing dental profession, so that I can deliver the best care possible.
I’ve lived all over the U.S, and overseas, as a result of my father being a pilot in the U.S. Air Force, but I decided to settle back in this area.
I really enjoy getting to know my patients and have developed countless long term relationships over the years.
