Our 7th annual Sturgeon Festival was a SUCCESS! Whether you volunteered behind the scenes, donated materials, led student field trips, attended the festival or financially contributed, your time and talents made our event the summer highlight for the Blue Water Area.

The Sturgeon Festival started as a grassroots idea seven years ago on a Sunday afternoon in June thanks to innovative partners like Friends of the St. Clair River, Gregory A.D., Acheson Ventures, The Huron Lady, and St. Clair-Detroit River Sturgeon For Tomorrow.  Due to these visionary efforts, it’s quickly grown to become a 3-day event rooted in education and stewardship. It’s obvious YOU – our partners, donors, volunteers –are passionate about protecting the health of the  St. Clair River and making Lake Sturgeon SHINE as STARS of the SHOW!
