On Sunday, October 7th, there will be a 5K & 2 Mile Walk event to kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The event will take place at 4475 24th Avenue Fort Gratiot, behind the Meijer store. The timed 5K will begin at 9 AM and the untimed 2 Mile Walk will take place shortly after, at 9:05. Registration from August 1st to October 6th is $30; however, registration can be done on race day for $35. You must be registered by September 16th to receive a shirt.
All funds raised go to help those in the community fight their battle with breast cancer.
Remember to wear pink!
