Carson’s Department Store, located in the Birchwood Mall, is hosting a Made in Michigan Vendor Event, Saturday, November 11 and Sunday, November 12, 2017 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. The event is in conjunction with Carson’s Community Days; local non-profit groups working together to raise money at the store. This year they’re offering something for those talented locals trying to find a venue to showcase their creations. Some of their vendors have a back-story for their interest in joining our venture. For instance, Jaylynn Buckley, a young local artist, will be selling some of her art work to raise money for her family, specifically her mother who is fighting cancer. Others are joining the show to find display space for potential customers to view their work. We expect candles, soap, jewelry, woodworking and more.
The two-day event will be located at the Carson’s Mall entrance. Be sure to stop by to find local artisans on display and see something new and interesting. You may even find that perfect Christmas gift. (it will be here before you know it)!
