Quite a few years ago I was driving to work my truck made a weird clunking sound I got out checked the tires and my passenger side front tire was leaning inward. I was on 13th street so it was a little busy should I go left and try to make it home or go right into the alley at least I’m off the road. Something said go right so I did. The man sitting on his porch came over and helped me get the truck off to the side as that alley is used quite frequently, I decided to walk home it wasn’t to far. My husband got out of work and we went over there the guy came out and told my husband it is the upper ball joint and he could change it if we wanted for $10, yes $10. We got a ride to the auto parts store from a church friend and then she left and went home. My husband’s cousin sees us out there and comes over to say hi. What a blessing as they had a tool we needed and another ride to the auto store. This man worked so hard on our tire and he didn’t even know us, did God put me in the right alley, he sure did!!! Not only that but just everything fell into place. Then out of the blue I get a text from my niece saying she was thinking about us. WOW! As I was leaving my boss text to ask how the tire was. Perfect timing it was done. Thank you Jesus for leading me there. Thank you Gary for being a kind man.
Even though I gave him more than $10 it still wasn’t enough.
James 5:16 – “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”
James 5:20 – “remember this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of their way will save them from death and cover over a multitude of sins.”
LOVE THE SINNER
We are taught to hate the sin love the sinner
but sometimes it’s hard when we’re beginners,
for we want to curse and hate everyone
and we don’t want to stop until we are done.
It’s not their fault the devil got in
he knows your weakness that makes you sin,
so don’t be quick to write them off
pray for them and don’t scoff.
For you would want them to forgive you
because you know that you sin too!
Love everyone that you meet,
because it may be angels that you greet.
We are all sinners saved by grace! James wrote about loving one another and praying for each other. It’s not about looking at each other as sinners; it’s about loving one another on a day to day basis and praying for one another. Let the love of Jesus shine through and overflow from you so much that people become affected by this love. Be the hands and feet of Jesus and live in it daily. It’s about forgiving and healing in the places you need to heal. Satan will use whatever he can to make you envious, lust after, be prideful in, wanting for, the things we shouldn’t be wanting but sometimes can’t help ourselves. When this happens we should be in prayer asking the heavenly father for protection against the worldly evil satan tries to inflict on us. Love one another as God loves you. As humans we will fail from time to time, probably more times than we care to think of, but keep in mind that God knows of our humanly failures and yet still loves us. He loves us so much He sent his only Son…..
